South Beloit CUSD #320, 850 Hayes Avenue, South Beloit, IL 61080 will accept sealed bids marked as such on the outside of the envelope for the following:

Copier Lease and Maintenance Proposals for the duration of a 3 year lease with two (2) one (1) year options, beginning June/July 2015.

The RFP may be obtained from the Board of Education Office located at 850 Hayes Avenue, South Beloit,  IL 61080 from 8 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday or a PDF copy is attached. 

Sealed Bids will be received until 9:00 AM on March 16, 2015.  Bids will be publically opened at 9:00 AM on March 17, 2015.  A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM on March 3, 2015 for questions concerning the RFP.

The South Beloit CUSD #320 School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality on bidding.

2015-2016 ILLINOIS STATE SCHOLARS ANNOUNCED

The South Beloit School District would like to congratulate Jessica, Brett, Michael and Makaela for their outstanding academic performance!  We are very proud of you.

The State Scholar Program recognizes students attending approved high schools (typically, Illinois public high schools) for outstanding academic achievement.  State scholar designation provides honorary recognition with no monetary award. Approximately the top 10 percent of graduates from approved high school are announced as State Scholars each year. 

Eligibility

To be considered for State Scholar eligibility, you must

  • Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen
  • Be a resident of Illinois
  • Attend an approved high school
  • Take the ACT or SAT between September 1 and June 30 (by the end of the third semester before high school graduation)
  • Perform in the top one-half of your high school class at the end of the third semester prior to graduation, and/or score in the 95th percentile on the ACT or SAT
  • Graduate from high school during the academic year in which you were selected as a State Scholar

Dear Parents and Guardians of South Beloit School District students,

Due to the recent cancellations of school days because of the inclement weather, the South Beloit School District has revised the 2014-2015 school year calendar.  We will be making up the snow days of January 7th, 8th, 9th and February 2nd at the end of the school year.  The last day of school will now be on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. 

If there are any further cancellations of school days this year, they would be made up at the end of the school year and you will be notified of the last day of school.

The dates of High School Graduation, 8th Grade Promotion and Kindergarten Promotion will remain as follows:

High School Graduation: May 16, 2015
8th Grade Promotion:            May 15, 2015
Kindergarten Promotion: May 19, 2015
